The cushion starfish lives on coral reefs throughout the Indo-Pacific Ocean. This type of starfish is known to prey on corals and other sedentary animals, as well as decaying organic matter.
Fun facts: Cushion starfish gets its name from its inflated, pillow like appearance. Whenever it’s a juvenile it look like a normal starfish, but the arms start to come together as it gets older. They can have a range of colors from orange to red to brown to green.
